At Recovery Avenue, we believe that recovery is not just about leaving behind a substance — it is about rebuilding a life worth living. We exist to bridge the gap between treatment and independence, providing a safe, structured, and dignified place for individuals in Sacramento to take their next step forward.
We started Recovery Avenue because we saw a real need in our community. People were completing detox, graduating from treatment programs, and leaving incarceration — only to have nowhere safe to go. Without stable, accountable housing, recovery becomes nearly impossible. We decided to do something about that.
Our homes are built on three principles: safety, structure, and community. Every resident who walks through our door deserves to be treated with dignity, supported by people who genuinely care, and surrounded by peers who understand the journey.

Recovery Avenue operates structured sober living homes across the greater Sacramento area, designed to feel like a real home — not an institution. We believe the environment you live in shapes the person you become, so we invest in ours.
Every home includes fresh linens provided on move-in day, an in-house washer and dryer, a fully functioning kitchen where residents cook and share meals together, a spacious and private yard to decompress in, high-speed Wi-Fi, full HVAC and mini-splits, and a personal toiletry welcome kit waiting for you on arrival.
Our random drug testing program, structured house rules, curfews, and weekly house meetings create the consistency that recovery requires.
We accept residents transitioning from detox, residential treatment, intensive outpatient programs, and shelter placements. If you are ready to do the work, we are ready to walk alongside you.
The Sacramento area is our community, and we are proud to serve it. Our homes sit at the crossroads of opportunity close to resources, employment, transit, and a growing network of recovery support services that make rebuilding your life here possible.
Recovery Avenue is for adults who are serious about their recovery and ready to live by a structure that supports it. We serve men and women transitioning out of detox or residential treatment, individuals completing probation or parole requirements, people stepping down from IOP or PHP programs, and those exiting shelter or transitional housing who need a more accountable environment.
We do not require a perfect history. We require a commitment to sobriety, a willingness to follow house rules, and a desire to grow. If you have that, we have a home for you.
We work closely with discharge planners, case managers, probation officers, and outpatient providers across the greater Sacramento area. If you place clients in recovery housing, we want to be a resource you can count on. We maintain real-time bed availability, respond to placement inquiries within two business days, and send a Monday morning bed availability update to every partner on our list.
To schedule a tour of our home, verify current availability, or add your name to our weekly update list, contact us directly. We are always happy to walk you through our intake process, share our documentation, and answer any questions about how we operate.
